What's actually different here
Nobody can flip you into video
Text, voice and video run as three separate queues. If you're on this page you asked for video — and so did the person you get. There is no way to talk someone onto camera mid-conversation.
Explicit video is blurred before you see it
Explicit content on the incoming feed is detected and blurred before it reaches you, so the check never waits on a human. It's tuned not to trip over a badly lit room, and anything reported gets looked at again afterwards.
Same country is on by default
Which usually means a shared language and a civilised hour. It's a toggle in the chat panel, so turn it off whenever you'd rather meet anyone.
You won't loop back to the same person
Skip someone and you won't be re-matched with them for a while — a shorter wait if you're signed in. It sounds minor until it's 2am and the pool is small.
Being sensible about it
You're on camera with someone nobody has vouched for. None of this is complicated:
- Your full name, street, school and employer are not conversation starters.
- Nobody legitimate needs your number, your Instagram or your money in the first five minutes.
- Report instead of arguing. It's one click, they aren't told, and it's more useful than winning the argument.
- Leaving isn't rude. The skip button is the format, not a failure of it.
- Omezy is 18+. If someone looks like a kid, end the chat and report — don't try to handle it yourself.

Is it free?
Yes, and there's no paid tier at all. Anonymous mode has a daily allowance and a cap on how long one call runs. Signing in is free and removes both.
Do I need an account?
No — but it's worth the twenty seconds. Signing in is free and it drops the time limits, prioritises your account when the matcher pairs people up, keeps your camera and matching preferences ready for next time, and lets you save more interests.
Does it work on a phone?
Any reasonably modern mobile browser with a camera. The front/rear switcher is on your own video tile.
Are video chats recorded?
No. Calls go peer-to-peer wherever the network allows it and aren't stored. If you report someone, a few frames are kept so a moderator can see what you saw, then deleted automatically after 30 days.
Why do I keep getting "no match found"?
Nobody matching your filters was free at that moment. Clearing the interest box or turning off same-country widens the pool immediately. Worth knowing: video is usually the thinnest of the three queues, so at quiet hours text will find someone faster.
Does anyone actually read my report?
Yes — reports go to human moderators with that conversation attached, and the person you reported is never told who filed it. One report on its own rarely decides anything; what it does is build the pattern that gets an account restricted or removed. Which is the whole reason it's worth the click.
I was banned and I don't know why.
Check the obvious ones first, because that's what nearly every ban is: you must be 18 or over, nothing explicit can appear on camera even briefly, and abusive language counts even when it's meant as a joke. A ban follows the account rather than the browser, so signing out won't clear it. Still think it's wrong? Use the appeal form and say what you think happened.
